NPFL: 2016 Super Four Gets New Date

The Nigerian Professional Premier League (NPFL) Super-Four invitational tournament has been scheduled to hold between January 11 and 15 2016.
npfl.jpg The annual pre-season tournament is yet to have a venue as the League Management Company (LMC) has not announced a host for the event which is normally kick-start a new league season.

Enyimba International won the league title while, Warri wolves, Nasarawa United and Akwa United came out as the runners-up, third-place holder and fourth place holder respectively.
Meanwhile, Enyimba were crowned champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL), for a record breaking seventh time today, November 15, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
The Peoples Elephant played out a goalless draw with Sunshine Stars FC of Akure to finish the season on 70 points.
Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom has urged the state-owned club, Akwa United FC to bring home the Federation cup when they face Lobi Stars on Sunday.
The governor said he will be available for the match against Lobi and pleaded with the players to make the nation proud when they face Lobi stars.
