Dancehall singer Solid Star has taken offence from what he
called a “disrespectful” treatment in front of his fans by people he
respects.
The incident occurred on Monday, December 28 during his performance at the One Lagos Fiesta.
Following this, the angry singer took to his Instagram account to vent about the incident saying:
“[I] was disrespected on stage last night in front of my fans by people I respect so much @deejayneptune [and] Omotalabi.
“I just had to let go, but next time I would tell you guys trash before leaving the stage, #justknow.”
As people waited for actual details of the incident, fans at the venue of the event went on
Twitter and shed more light on it.
According to sources, Solid Star (as well as other artistes) got on stage and extended performance beyond allocated time. This didn’t sit well with DJ Neptune as he switched the songs to get the artistes off the stage in time for the next performer.
Solid Star however remained on stage and struggled to hold the crowd a bit longer after his songs stopped playing.
