Barcelona Will Triple Neymar's Wages

According to the Spanish sources Barcelona are close to sealing a new contract with Brazilian star Neymar which would see the player become the club’s second-highest paid player.

Goal.com notes that Neymar’s future at the Camp Nou had been placed in doubt after he gave some enigmatic comments to the press following a training session.

However, Marca insists that the player will nevertheless sign a lucrative extension with Barcelona, placing him behind only Lionel Messi in total salary earnings.

It also reports that the striker currently takes home around €10.5 million after taxes, and the new deal would almost triple that figure.
